What I see in my head when I read some of the arguments in these threads....

    I read this on ESPN:
Another player who signed with the Timberwolves as a free agent last summer, Jamal Crawford, has publicly expressed some surprise at the limited minutes he's played this season, especially based upon his conversations with the organization before committing to a two-year deal.

LOL, what did he expect playing behind Jimmy Butler. He wants to play and coach be like, but I want to win.

Basically what I was going to say. The Philly fan didn't create any sort of physical confrontation, so RW snitched on him rather than having the refs bail him out of a fight, so to speak.

I love how openly some reporters hate the Ball family.

So much for that marketing genius of a dad they have.

Cavs are terrible. LeBron looks he wants out of cleveland. And this year, they don't have Kyrie. IT4 sucks. Never understood the Hype for that guy, Remember when people said he is better than Lillard? Brad Stevens made him look like an MVP candidate but without him he sucks. IT is just an System Player who needs a good System to play well

Cleveland getting booed. They look like they've quit. You know what they need, a really fresh Meyers or Harkless.

Neil should look to make a deal.

But seriously, the Kardashian Kurse is something else. Should've gotten rid of TT before the Kurse manifests itself to these proportions. Now obviously, it's a long time between now and the start of the playoffs, but I'm questioning if they even make it to the Finals.

So.... if we could get LeBron to agree to it, I wonder if Cleveland would trade him rather than lose him for nothing?

I honestly think the smart thing to do if you’re the Cavs FO is to start trading assets now before Lebron leaves. Idc if they have Lebron there’s not a chance in hell they make the finals this year. What a shit show.

How the HELL was Gerald Green sitting at home not even playing ball while Evan Turner is making boatloads of cash?

    Turner - 8.6 ppg in 26.7 mpg, 31% from '3', $17,100,000
    Green- - 13.6 ppg in 25.1 mpg, 39% from '3', $1,400,000

My goodness Neil. You might want to refund some of your own salary just out of guilt.

Because Neil can't make the underrated veteran signings. Gerald Green stands out, but so does James Johnson (who two years ago signed a minimum contract with Miami and has been awesome) and Tyreke Evans (1 year, $3.3M contract signed last summer).

Instead he offers Evan Turner $18M. He can make the trades needed for underrated young players (Napier, etc.), but can't land the cheap, underrated veterans. Imagine if we had Tyreke Evans and James Johnson instead of Evan Turner and Meyers Leonard. We'd be a Top 4 Seed, paying $15M less than we would be now. Mike Scott is another example.

BTW you mixed up Green's and Turner's 3pt percentages.

I'm just hoping LeBron doesn't come West. That would fucking blow.

@BonesJones ..thanks for the heads up about the '3' pt %. Green has way outshot Turner and don't want to short change him.

Man... If Indiana could swing a trade for Kemba Walker, Dennis Schroeder, Mike Conley, or another top PG, they'd have to be in his consideration.
    Kemba/Schroeder
    Oladipo
    Sabonis
    Turner
As well as $50M in cap space. With LeBron, that's a team that could beat Golden State. LeBron/Oladipo/Kemba/Turner is a legit Big 4. Win a championship for Indiana and you're a legend forever.

    PHI would be fun.

NYK, if they shed some salary, could be a contender. They could send Noah+Ntilikina+Thomas to someone... Then Hardaway and Lee sent elsewhere. Porzingas would still be cheap. They could land LeBron and another max free agent. They could add all of LeBron's banana boat buddies with the cap space they could create. Hernangomez+O'Quinn+Porzingas+Beasley would count ONLY $12M against their cap and that's an entire frontcourt right there.

I don't see how Houston would get rid of Anderson's contract. They don't really have the picks to do so. With Paul's $35M cap hold, Harden's $30M salary, and Anderson's $20M salary, those 3 take up essentially $85M of their cap, leaving only $15M in space EVEN if they got rid of Gordon, Tucker. I'd hope NBA teams would stonewall Houston and not take Anderson's contract just for a very late 1st round pick.

Paul's cap hold, Harden, and Capela's cap hold equals $70M, plus $500K for each empty roster spot... They'd have only $27M-ish even if they got rid of Anderson, Gordon, Tucker, Nene, etc. I just don't see how it happens.

Indiana could have ~$74M in cap space if they shed everyone except Sabonis, Oladipo, and Turner. Bogdanovic, Jefferson, and Collison are all under team options. Young and Joseph have player options. I have a feeling that John Wall could be traded this summer with the drama he seems to be causing Washington and they're play without him being as good as with him. He's making $19M. I think Indiana could send 2 or 3 first round picks as well as well as Collison, and Young (accept options). That would leave $55M in cap space. You can't tell me that LeBron wouldn't consider joining a team with John Wall, Victor Oladipo, Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis, and $20M in cap space after LeBron signs.
