Spicy P has been on fire for several weeks.

All Raptors starters played >50-minutes, first time in shot clock era. Raps play Mon-Tue-Thu-Friday we're going to lose three of those as a result of going all out tonight.

Interesting that Siakam has played 39 minutes or more in 8 of his last 10 games. I think some of the other starters about the same.

    Lakers Age Revisited
There was a lot of concern about the Lakers being too old, or in ADs case, too injury prone. Their role players are very old,
but much of the concern surrounded their "Big 4". How has that worked out so far?

Player - Age - Games Missed (50 games played)
LBJ -37 - 14 - played great, but missed a lot of games
Melo - 37 - 3 - playing about as well as last year, hasn't missed a lot of games
    Russ - 33 - 0 - extremely inconsistent, but hasn't missed any games
    Davis - 28 - 21 - played great, but missed a LOT of games

Record: 24-26 - not where they were hoping they'd be. So far, the critics have been right.

In the end, it's the playoffs that matter. Will they be healthy? Right now, they're in the playin, and the extra playoff games would be hard on an older team.

Brooklyn is 12-13 at home and 17-7 on the road. And they’re in danger of falling into the play in. Would be terrific if they missed the playoffs. Does Houston have their pick?

Funny part is the media or should i say ESPN has been trying to will a Nets vs Lakers final now for two years. Doesn't look like it will happen this year either?

nurk should have and still should contact hakeem (or someone else whos good at it) and see if he would be willing to work with him and learn him some low post moves

hes really big and strong, it would be such a shame to let all that potential go to waste... maybe he will never develop consistent 3-pointer, but he can dominate the paint, that much is clear

if im nurk, im taking a two week vacation in the off-season and then im going to work on my game entire off-season, especially working on my low post moves

Maybe he should have been doing that last year? What makes you think he's gonna do it after he gets his next contract? He won't. By the way, Nurk isn't that strong at all. Softest big in the entire league.

One doesn't necessarily have to do with the other. Nurk has tremendous strength....but often plays soft due to mindset.

I’m going to disagree with you there. I have never seen anything that I would consider “Tremendous Strength” and I have seen plenty that says soft.
I would say they do absolutely have a lot to do with one another.

Ask anyone who really knows. Nurk is ridiculously strong. He just doesn't chose to use it all the time.
