I want to be the greatest blazer of all time.

    - aldridge

Half the shit these dudes say is lip service
I don't think he is locked into miami. He totally is weighing all options. But he isnt making the decision by himself. If he chooses someplace other than where his wife wants he will have to convince her and smooth it over thats all. Doesnt mean they wont decide boston or utah are a better choice.

Does Vegas have a petting pool on Hayward's FA move? I wouldn't mind getting in on some of that action.

Gordon Hayward could go to any one of the three places. Who knows, I don't even have a guess

This is mostly correct. But where she wants to go will be in the conversation.

It would be even more tilted towards the large market teams. The MASSIVE TV deals they get dwarf what teams like the Blazers get and they would have way more money to spend. They already have more marketing opportunities as it is in most cases.

The only one of three teams he will be competing for a title with would be Boston.

I'll take duh for 100 alex.

Should we list all the other obvious determining factors in his decision?

I never claimed you did. But you did say

All i'm saying is it absolutely will be in the conversation where his wife and kids prefer.

Wasn't that in Steve Blakes conversations when he signed with us?

No... and I don't get how that has anything to do with being able to understand that healthy relationships are a two way street.

Actually they didn't. I said, as you were kind enough to quote it for me, that all three teams CAN compete. Miami has a very good center, good pg, and although underwhelming so far, Winslow could be something. Favorable cap space and a destination city for FAs. Adding Heyward, in the east, puts them in a solid position. And didn't they finish 30-11?

Sure for our own sake, he should go east. But looking at it from haywards perspective, staying would be best. He's helped lay the foundation there. Better team than both Boston and Miami imo. Doesn't have to take a pay cut.

I think Miami in the East is closer to the ECF. Than Utah is to the WCF.

Yes, I'm aware of the wealth of the owner...lol. But there are other small market teams that don't have an owner with the pockets of Paul and not nearly the non-ticket revenue to be able to compete with an LA, NY, CHI or HOU.
