I think that at some point Olshey makes an attempt to get a decent shooting forward. To go the entire season and not address that issue would be beyond folly. Plus we have the exception.

Yeah I agree, question is who? Last year we had a general idea of targets (most wanted Noel, some of us Nurkic) but this year I don’t see any clear target outside of maybe Hezonja, but even that is more of a project than Nurkic was or Noel would’ve been.

    Question:

What ya think of Caldwell Pope? He has really good defense and can hit the 3..

Would he fit as our future SF? Or is he too small?

Ugh. No more "projects." How did we get so many one/two tool players?! It's insane!

Robin outscoring Brook 14-2 in the 3rd quarter, lol.

The problem is they’re repetitive one/two tool players. It’s why in the offseason I wanted to trade one of Aminu/Harkless, and at least one of the bigs not named Nurk.

    No he's not. He's a streaky shooter.

how does anyone say Aminu is a "good" shooter, I like the guy a lot but stats are there for a reason, he's avg at best with a career 42.6% FG% and a .32.7% 3 pt %. Granted he's been decently improved at 3 the past couple yrs but it's still not what I consider good, avg at best. That said I'll take him over Hark in a second.

Nobody said he’s a good shooter. Kingspeed opinion doesn’t count

Not disagreeing with you but I did laugh thinking about Ariza actually waving Harden, CP3, Gordon and Anderson off because he had the better matchup. I would take that all night long.

How the hell did Magic fall ass backwards into Kuzma?

Also, Denzel Valentine would look damn good as our SF.

You're acting like Crabbe can guard those guys.. You're also acting like that would be a lineup that would play together a lot. Crabbe played 24 mpg. Shabazz is playing 15.

No one is saying "don't go get a SF" who can shoot. But you seem to be confusing Crabbe as one of those. He's not. He only gave us shooting, nothing more.

I think I had them as 5th seed for this season
TOP 3 is as expected, but I had OKC and LAC as 4th and 5th seed, but so far nothing is certain outside of TOP 3

season is long, we could end up higher than we tought, anyway, I just dont want GSW in the first round

I hope Olshey makes a trade that brings Griffin to Portland. That would be fucking huge. For example: Turner/Collins/Davis or Vonleh + 2018 First unprotected + 2019 First unprotected. The clippers could start their rebuild with a couple of picks and zach Collins while they can also trade DAJ. They are not gonna win anything with that roster even they are healthy and Blake is wasting his career with the clippers. Im sure olshey still has a good relationship with the clippers and could make something happen. The only question is is Steve crazy ballmer agree to go rebuilding

Griffin......talent wise would be nice. But how much of a douche bag is he? He sure looks/acts like one, but looks can be deceiving. Maybe away from Doc he would not be as bad. Dame should know him fairly well. So I guess if a move was ever made they would check with him first.

You can not trade multiple sequential years first-round picks. This will not work.
