Just about every team they play... Especially when Jordan is sitting.

Idk. Willie Reed is a pretty big upgrade over Speights in that regard, but it's true that they have the potential to throw out some pretty awful defensive lineups.

Milos/Lou/Dekker/Gallo/Griffin is the one that sticks out for sure.

And people think they're gonna do well?

They are NOT last year's Jazz.

I see Clips anywhere between 7th and 10th seed. Injuries will tell the story. Most likely, I could see them sneaking in as the 8th seed.

Well, there's only 10 or so teams that can say that so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

EDIT* And it's more like 5 or 6

Marcus Smart looks good for Boston and they are really going to need him to make a jump. If he doesn't, I don't think they win 50 games.

Baynes is another important guy for them. I'm pretty down on Boston's defense as a whole but they looked good there with both him and Horford on the floor. Not sure how much we'll see that though with how thin they are up front.

People are really going to see how much better Nurk is than Joke-ic this year. You thought Nuggets fans were salty last year... hold up!

You think the Clippers are surely better than us?

Nuggets will finish like 12th in the west, I don't think Millsap helps them that much and they overachieved last year. #preseasonoverreactions

Lakers have some talent in Randle, Ingram, Kuzma, Clarkson... Ball is an overrated SCRUB!

Lou Williams is inefficient as fuck. Over the long run, having him shoot is a bad thing. Having him defend is an even wise thing. Teodosic is starting to become overrated. Everyone always thinks European PGs will be better than they actually are (Even Sergio got some hype last off-season). Gallinari isn't very efficient either, and is a pretty bad defender as well. Beverly is one of the worst starting PGs in the West. Rivers? The definition of average.

Why do people think this team will be good? Outside of their big men, who appeared better than they are because of CP3, they don't have much going for them. How do some people think they're certainly better than us, and get "shocked" when posters think we'll do better than them?

I agree with you on Millsap. At this stage in his career he is a good vet role player. Nothing more. Nuggets still look like they lack shooters.

That young Turkish kid Korkmaz is really good! Philly stocking up on all the Okafors...
    Bayless can still do alley-oops!

Add Lopez, Deng, Bogut, Pope.......they are going to be tough at home. Their 2nd unit is as good as their starters. Certainly no great players but lots of decent ones. And with the uptempo way Walton wants to play they will be in most games at home. Crunch time may be an issue for them though as they lack go to players except for maybe Lopez. But even that is a stretch.
