Yeah, uh huh, we'd be better with LA taking 18 low-percentage shots away from Dame, CJ, and Nurk. Yeah. Sure.
We saw LA's affect on our team, and it was negligible. We've literally had the same success (1-and-done, or lucky 2nd round) without him that we had with him. And when we had him, we had a superior SF the entire time, and a superior C and SG for most of the time. LA doesn't make a damn difference to a team's performance - at best he's Taurean Green...good for 2-3 wins.

For the record, I don't think highly of Turner either. But he at least plays a full game of basketball, rather than lazily launching 20-foot jump shots and playing stand-still defense. LA's mild improvement in SAS cannot be taken seriously, as that improvement won't follow him to any other team in the league.

Look at roster construction too, though. What does LA add to this roster, given our current glut of bigs? Does his mid-range J help the offense (more than Turner's)? Would he hurt our rebounding? Do you think his and Nurkic's game mesh? How might his presence impact the development of our rookies? And if Turner were removed, what does our backcourt look like? Dame, CJ, and...Pat and Napier?

Consider the impact of a hypothetical Turner-for-LA swap in its totality, rather than just the caliber of the two players involved.

Hey, he's just hating on OKC. I like the guy who picked the Jazz - ballsy.

LMA got POP for a coach that don't care who you are you better produce especially on the D end or he get in your ass. Yes LMA has more talent then Turner the answer is yes. But LMA sometimes don't give that 100 percent effort but Turner does.

Years of being a poorly run organization have caught up with them. Their ownership and management seem to have a nasty habit of alienating their own players and coaches.

Rather than management, coaches and players sharing a common vision and working together to achieve a common goal, the Bulls seem to practice the antiquated us vs. them style of management - labor relations.

Well I think they have to cut Portis...I'd be surprised if the teammates want him on the team after that lol

Wow, that's bad. The season hasn't even started and these guys already hate each other. I can only imaging what month, after month, after month of losing will do to that locker room.

That's one way to get the starting PF job. Just pretend your teammate is Ruben Patterson and go full ZBO on his face.

Just looking at that roster makes me feel bad for RoLo.

Here's something you never thought you'd hear (about anyone): He would have been better off if the Knicks hadn't traded him

When Rolo is your best player, your team is a diaper fire masquerading as a basketball squad.

I like RoLo, but it's hard to see the guy who's into comic books and beating up mascots as the veteran leader on that team. But, that's exactly what he is, or the closest they have to one anyway.

It's cool as long as he didn't leave the bench to do it.
