Randle may not be long for this team. Kuzma's plays PF.

Is it really a big difference in today's NBA between SF and PF?

Batum is a 2/3 swingman, so he's not really a reasonable comparison. You know there are tons of 3/4 hybrid forwards in this league (we've got a few in Portland), and I think Kuzma fits that paradigm to a T. No reason he can't play SF. I mean, is there really a major difference between him and Harkless?

Point is, Kuzma (potentially) being legit doesn't preclude Randle from being a part of their future. The possibility of them signing Lebron or George, however--that's a different story altogether.

I think the key words here are individual talents...
I do like Gallo and I think Denver will miss him. But I am very curious to see how this team develops. Right now the projected starters in the backcourt are Beverly and Rivers. Do the players now like Austin Rivers? or were the rumors wrong? Maybe they hated CP3 more so it is possible they will gel better, but unless Milos can somehow take over running the team, I would have concerns about this team's chemistry on and off the court. Definitely some individual talent but I am not sure they will mesh well. I am with Bones on this one.

Alright they're both average. Lou shot >43% from the field and 36% from 3pt. Before last year, Gallinari was always around 41% FGs and 36% 3pt. That's not efficient. With the way they struggle on defense neither of them make a big impact. Sadly, that's they're top two perimeter players.

This year is different, when teams will gameplan against the bigs first, instead of CP3.

I think they finish 6th, I just think we're definitely better than them.

Kuzma reminds me a lot of Tatum. Both of them are gifted scorers, but who're they going to guard?

I think Mudiay's going to be a lot better this year. He may even be a half-decent PG. If not, they're going to try Jamal Murray there. And Will The Thrill can play there in a pinch.

Hasn't Doc been "relieved" of his GMing duties? If so, how long do you think Austin stays on the roster?

Denver going live or die by the 3 ball. They have no rim proctector and there 2nd unit will be hit or miss. But they due have solid starting unit for offense and there defense is still in works.

The GM is in a bad spot. Does he want to alienate Doc by trading Ausin? Does Austin have any trade value? (2 years around 12 per) My guess is Austin is on the roster until the GM and the owner stop caring if Doc is there or not. By the trade deadline they may know.

Only because of roster composition IMO.

They don't have a rim protector in the first unit. :dunno:

You're forgetting FT rate and Gallo and Lou are two of the best at drawing fouls.

I also think BG is both good enough and has enough supporting talent to thrive as a #1 guy when healthy but it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Health and chemistry definitely makes it a pretty combustible situation and it's why I'd gives us the slight edge despite arguably less talent.
