As much as I may be disappointed with the opportunity Zach blew here and dislike him for it, I have unabashed love for their coach as he helped bring me the greatest sporting memory of my childhood. Go Grizz, and prove yourselves worthy of #14!
So is someone going to start a "We got the worst possible match up" thread if we lose and Memphis and or NO goes on to win the first round series?
We got the team we wanted. If you want to make the argument that Houston wasn't a bad matchup for us two years ago or that we should have won without a healthy Roy and Batum against a Suns team that made the WCF, I'll be interested to read it.
Not having Manu might have played a role today I'm thinking. Let's see the Grizzlies keep doing it once the Spurs have their best player.
The Lakers are down 4 early in the third quarter and you're acting as if NO is in control of the series?! LOL.
The Lakers will have the same feeling if they lose today. Sure, they lost, but they didn't have Steve Blake.
Too bad we didn't get the refs in the LA/NO game. They realize it's the playoffs and are letting them play. A lot of contact out there. edit - at the same time LA has shot 23 FT and NO 11 LOL Maybe I'm wrong.
Hornets showing you why I wanted the Lakers in the first round. I was bummed when Kobe hit that three against Sac. We could've beaten the Lakers. I'm worried we'll end up playing the Hornets in the second round. They have our number. At least we'll have HCA.
Lakers lose 5 straight. Then they barely beat the Spurs' scrubs. Then they blow 20 point lead to Kings and need clutch shot from Kobe to force OT. Now they're getting punched by a West-less Hornets team. The Lakers are done.
Lakers are never done until they are in the ground. I've learned never to underestimate anything. Just leads to heartbreak X
