Isn't that all that the Cavs could offer him as well?

I would think so. I glossed over them, and just noticed the OKC. But yeah, it seems most teams he'd want to go to are capped, so I guess he'll probably accept a vet min wherever he ends up if his goal is to try to super-team his way to a championship.

    Yes. Why wouldn't he?
Chicago is paying him $20M to play for someone else this year. It's not like he's "loosing" money by signing a vet min deal.

Wade could go to OKC and some on here would claim we still have more talent than them and will finish ahead of them.

Isn't chemistry better than talent or is that just a Portland thing?

He's already getting paid. He took an 8 mil bath in the buyout.

lol Woj with a silly post this time.
As if Wade and James never spent time with each other and Miami wasn't his home for a million years.

Lookout everybody! D-Wade trained with a player like he trained with other players in the past!

Everybody knows that Bron and Wade spent time together. Almost NOBODY knows Wade and PG13 worked out together this summer.

I just assume all NBA stars are close because of team USA,mutual friends, summer scrimmages, college, mutual friends etc.
It's a really small group of guys when you think about it.

I think it is a pretty good deal for him, especially with some of the other contracts in the league as a juxtaposition. He is a lot like Harkless in his role, however he is a bit more aggressive on offense.

thats a very good deal for Suns, hes like third best player on that roster, with Bledsoe and Booker
he could be very good offensive player and more than solid defensively

T.J. Warren was actually one my picks for an under the radar mid season trade candidate. Looks like the Suns want to keep him around, however.

I could see him as their starting 4 going forward if he's actually effective there. If not, he should get traded. Jackson is the future SF for that team. Warren isn't that good IMO. Can't defend too well and isn't much of a shooter. Ideal player would be able to do both for us.

Wade wouldn't make the Thunder better at all. He's already declining as a player and would only make a noticeable positive impact in the right situation.

However, on a team that will struggle to shoot a good percentage from 3pt, with 3 ball dominant players including a PG who struggles to shoot the 3 who needs the ball to be most effective, just doesn't mix well.

Westbrook, Wade, and George has a lot of similarities to Rondo, Wade, and Butler. Westbrook is better of course, but the way they play and the problems of fit would be very similar to this years Thunder and last years Bulls. Yes, Melo is a better SF/PF option than the Bulls had, but with how many players need the ball, he'd be relegated to a smaller role that could only be slightly more prominent than the one Mirotic played last year. Obviously they won't be as bad as that Bulls team, but that Bulls team was hyped up as being a contender for HCA last year, and I kept saying they wouldn't come close because of the problems of their top players fitting together.

So this type of situation is what I'm talking about when I say OKC could get overhyped because mosts are just focusing on the names they have and not how they actually fit together.
