Those Bulls swept the Cavs in the regular season, and were leading the Celts in the playoffs before Rondo's injury. They only finished with the 8 seed, but were built for the playoffs, and may well have made the finals had they stayed healthy.

If you're saying that these Thunder are a rich man's 2017 Bulls, that's not a bad evaluation to have.

This team will be fun to watch. A lot of losses, but exciting play. AE43640D-062D-40D3-ACF3-9C2AEBCB418D.jpeg

Again, too hasty. If they stay healthy, they're crazy good, though yes, they have holes.

Well, players logic these days dictates that if it doesn't make sense for him to go there..... then he will probably go there.

As of the report a couple days ago Embiid isn't even cleared for 5 on 5 yet.

Is Embiid going to play? If so, then yeah - PHI and MIL will be the only teams in the East I give a damn about.

Ya, Embid can't even run full court yet. Shit, their first preseason game is in 7 days and he hasn't even played with the guys yet. Saw an article yesterday about how Philly is already in talks to re-sign him. What the fuck? This guy hasn't even really played and they ill have to MAX him out probably to keep him.

He's better than Andre Roberson. And he'd be great off the bench in OKC. Jussayin.

Dwayne is going to the Cavs:

Dwyane Wade Nearing Commitment With Cavaliers

Dwyane Wade is nearing a commitment to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers one he clears waivers.

Wade is expected to finalize his decision as soon as Wednesday. Wade will be eligible to sign a one-year, $2.3 million veteran's minimum contract with the Cavaliers.

Wade agreed to a buyout with the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

LeBron James and Wade were teammates for four seasons with the Miami Heat.

Wade also considered the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat. Wade hasn't ruled out a future return to the Heat but prefers to join a contender.

I do think that now is the best time to get the injections. As the treatment can only last for months. So the closer to the start of the season the better???? (I am guessing here)

My question is: Why does he need them?

His prior knee injuries were meniscus related, and those often recur. My guess is that now that they have their big 3 and believe themselves to be contenders, they're trying to prevent the issues from flaring up again this year and derailing their hopes for a title.

At the very least he probably has "Jumper's Knees" ( Patellar Tendinosis) It helps ease the pain.

Honestly I'd try to trade Ed Davis for Shumpert. Cleveland could use a backup 4/5, and they'd have 4 SGs (not including Crowder).

If there was a way we could get Crowder, even better.
