    Watching this...

...it occurred to me: could you purposely forestall a fast-break by the opposing team by smearing your sweaty body all over the floor so that it's unsafe?

What's the deal with Nurse being down in the corner near the baseline? I think he does it to fuck with opponents and I don't like it.

That one time Kyle Lowry’s mom had beef on Twitter with THE HCP

Fortunately, you're here to carry the torch for Tunchi.

Can Jody buy us a championship? I mean, if I’m a billionaire owner of the Blazers, I will buy us a championship team and I don’t care if I pay all that taxes.

Oh shit. Dame didn’t like that. Tells me two things about MPJ. He’s going to be a big time player for that much confidence to say that and he’s going to be a malcontent till he’s the man on a team

What that tells me about MPJ is that he might be more of a problem for his team than he's going to be for opponents and that's saying a lot. That's why Dame is shaking his damn head, there's a right way to do it and a wrong way to do it, MPJ doesn't seem to care and Dame is about doing it right.

I didn't see anything wrong with Porter's comments at all. Getting more players involved and being less predictable is usually a good thing. And what's wrong about saying it publicly? I think we only have had one guy in Stotts era, Evan Turner, who even hinted publicly that Blazers needed to get more people involved. Of course he was a terrible shooter, but that's not the case with Porter.

The general culture in the NBA is different. He has an All NBA teammate and a guy who damn near averaged 50 in a series ahead of him in the pecking order. And he was horrible last game every possession after getting worked up after his dunk, while being a massive liability of defense. He's a rookie, and the hierarchy should be respected, at least in front of cameras.

Even ET chimed in on this last night.

Porter was clearly calling out Malone. Few players have the cache to do that and he ain't one of em. Recall his comments re. Covid. Guy ain't the sharpest tool in the shed.
