For all the hype behind Doc, he never even made a single conference finals in the west, even with top level talent. This should come as no surprise

You're just kidding right? I mean Dragic is a one time All-Star and one time All NBA Third teamer, he leads the team in minutes played and ppg in the playoffs. Bam is a lottery pick, he was a high school McDonald's all-american, he was a one and done from Kentucky, he's in his third season, he's another all-star and he leads the team in both rebounds and assists in the playoffs. Jae Crowder is a solid NBA veteran who everyone knows. They have Olynyk and Iggy too. None of these guys, all of whom are in the rotation, fit the description of D-Leaguers and Rookies. The only position in the rotation that fits that description is their starting and backup SG.

This is a quality team that will lose in 5.

With that much hair product, he can probably safely slide his way to another decade.

Big Blockbuster with the Pacers. Do they do it and would you do it? I know I would.

    upload_2020-9-28_16-25-8.png

I think this makes us a better team defensively and we don't lose a lot of offense. Obviously according to tradenba there is no projected change in wins for either team and that's usually a sign that the deal isn't too lopsided either way. In CJ and Nurk, they get a lot for Oladipo and Turner. Nurk is the better overall player than Turner and I thnk CJ is the better player than Oladipo overall. It's just a matter of fit and I think this trade would make our team more cohesive and give the Pacers a ton of value in return for the guys they send out. We do get Warren and that is a big deal but they get the value of either having Trevor next season and cap space after that or Trevor's expiring contract to trade at the deadline along with a the upgrade at both other positions. I think all of that is worth including Warren.

Interesting. I haven't seen this, but I believe you. If true, I think that does matter. Also, I don't think the Clippers would've let him go unless their two best players signed off on it.

I hope we do get 3 HOF players and a DPOY candidate, but it hasn't happened in 50 years, so I'm not counting on it.

So you want Stotts gone (not going to take issue with that), but want to replace him with a guy who has proven he can't win with multiple all-stars. We have 1 all-star, why would you think Doc would all of a sudden lead us to the promise land? There has to be better options!

I agree. It just feels like without a big name nothing will ever change. I think I’m just antsy.

I'm sure you're correct. Maybe someone should have reminded Leonard that the "Super Friends" didn't win a title their first season in Miami. Did they throw Pat Riley under the bus or did they accept responsibility for the loss and come back stronger?

    Did I miss this discussion?

Where there is smoke there is fire:

There has reportedly been some locker-room fighting with players calling each other out, rolling their eyes at each other, and pretty much showing that they truly never were on the same page, to begin with.

And now, Kawhi Leonard’s personal trainer Clint Parks is just adding even more fuel to the fire, as he was spotted calling out Leonard’s teammate on Twitter, going as far as to call Montrezl Harrell a ‘double agent’ and questioning Paul George’s basketball IQ:
