Why can’t we be like the Warriors. So fun to watch. Plays defense and everyone can shoot.

Just one point to that. "Everyone can shoot" is a real difference maker. You have to admit Lillard shooting just his average the Blazers would be playing better all around. When you make a shot you get set on defense.

The 'everyone can shoot' is a fallacy. Draymond hasn't shot over 31% from '3' for a full season since 2015-16.
Their center Kevin Looney has never really shot '3's and certainly not well.
Jordon Poole is playing really well....but is a career 31% shooter from '3'.

That is 3 of their top 6 players in terms of minutes played. What they do well is get a lot of shots for people who do shoot '3's well through passing and ball movement. That is the big difference between them and Portland.

the NBA essentially forced Donald Sterling to sell the Clippers

I wonder if it will happen with Sarver and the Suns

I mean ridiculous that it took this long for it to come out. Sarver is a scumbag, I hope he has to sell.

Speaking of shooting…..there is a certain member of this forum, I can’t say who (because of mandates placed on me from the higher ups of the S2 management team) who is actually on twitter attempting to give Damian Lillard his “expert” advice on HOW to shoot a basketball. I don’t know why it showed up on my feed other than it trending for it’s outright craziness. This dude is getting murdered. You can’t make this shit up FAMS!

His #'s are no better than Simons (actually, this year he's shooting worse from the floor and from 3, and his FT% is worse for their respective careers, Simons is averaging more points per game and a whole 1.4 fewer assists per 36)...and he's 3 years older. So, yeah, maybe they went with the right draft pick?

So... teams hold out their stars who have abdominal injuries. Interesting.

Sounds like no Lillard at this point as well. At least if this Abdominal issue is real.
