Testing doesn’t eliminate all chances/risks of spread. BTW, is the NBA not doing regular testing, anyway? I thought I read somewhere that a major sport was still enforcing fairly strict testing across the board, regardless of vax status, but can’t find the article.
NBA won't test fully vaccinated players regularly, issues COVID protocols for 2021-22 season Fully vaccinated players and team personnel will not be required to undergo regular coronavirus testing during the 2021-22 season Fully vaccinated individuals won't be required to quarantine if they come into close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19, and won't be restricted from team activities. If all players on a team are fully vaccinated, there may not be any restrictions on "away-from-work activities," such as attending indoor bars, clubs and lounges.
There are still tests. As part of the Tier 1(players/coaches/staff) I had one yesterday and am having another next week. The NBA put out their plan, but not sure of the testing frequency off hand.
One swap for your gums and then the other one into your brain through your nose. Don’t like that one. Trying to figure out why there are so many different tests. In Japan we had to fill up this little vile with spit every morning. Is one better than the other?
I think it's the Chinese test: https://www.dw.com/en/anal-covid-19-swabs-in-china-we-just-dont-know-if-its-necessary/a-56789975
They used him right: they glued his ass to the bench. He got minutes on the Clippers because of some weird Doc Rivers infatuation (if I didn't know better, I'd say Doc was biased against Euros) despite Zubac having MUCH better on/off stats. Apparently Vogel actually uses the stats.
The Lakers have many flawed minimum salary big name guys and people think its going to give them depth. None of them are good 2 way rotational players. Melo, Dwight, DeAndre, Rondo. Guys like Melo are talking about how he can do "any role" whether thats start or lead the bench... but the guy wont be happy with DNP which would likely be best for the team a number of nights. One of DeAndre and Dwight won't be happy with DNP if the team is better with Davis at center. Do we really think Westbrook will defer to LeBron and Davis while what, spreading the court spotting up for a corner three? He's never been a good defender or good shooter which are the two most needed skills to pair with LeBron and Davis. The team had great 3+D role players with Danny Green and KCP when the won the title, along with key contributors in Kuzma, Caruso, Javalee McGee. These minimum salary has beens won't provide any of that this season. I can't wait to watch that team fail this year.
Then our Blazers have absolutely NOTHING to worry about against them this season right? Automatic easy 4 wins. Next topic.
