Yeah, that's pretty much my guess too. I think at a minimum he sits until maybe the last month of the season and then tries to be ready for the playoffs, but Kawhi has never been the sort to push too hard on recovery.

Yeah, Ballmer is hoping for mid-season but he won't be back till at least the playoffs probably if at all this season? It was only a partial tear so who knows. But, why rush him back only to injure it worse?

sounds like all three auditioning for just a training camp contract. Doesn't take much for players to slip to the fringe, does it?

time flies....was in the same draft (2006) as Lamarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy; and Rajon Rondo; and Sergio Rodriguez & Joel Freeland; and Paul Millsap; and Kyle Lowry; and PJ Tucker

with Redick gone, that will leave only Aldridge, Rondo, Millsap, Lowry, and Tucker still playing

the only guys left from the draft before that (2005) are Chris Paul & Lou Williams (Utah let Illyasova walk and I don't think he's signed with anybody)

from the 2004 draft, there's Dwight Howard, Iggy, and Ariza

from the 2003 draft, there's Melo

I imagine I missed somebody still playing from those drafts

Looks like Nance didn't make it, he just sneaked into SI top 100 list.

Still pretty impressive the Blazers have 5 players in the top 100. I wonder how many teams have all of their starters on the list, I wouldn't think many.

Theoretically, you could have up to 20 teams.
Without going through the list, I'd guess there are 7-8 teams that have have 5-guys in the top 100.

That would mean 10 teams have 0 players..... How many teams don't have two top 100 players.... I wouldn't think more than a couple teams.

    I searched through the list.

All the lottery teams except the Thunder and maybe the Magic have multiple players in the top 100.

So I think it will be very rare to have 5 starters in the top 100.

I don't think it means much of anything to have 5 players in the top-100. In the NBA what matters is if you have 2-3 players in the top-20 or so

Alright! Who's gonna be the NERD and figure out how many other teams have all five starters in the top 100 and which teams they are?

Then of course someone has to find this out for the Lakers at the very least?
