Man, Diop looks so bad. He's trying but he makes Sabonis look like Tony Parker in lateral quickness.

Didn't a couple teams try and do that with Chauncey Billups early in his career?

Well ya. Have you looked at that roster? A couple more lottery picks to put around Kemba and Henderson and they might be legit. No free agents are going to sign there and they have no trade fodder.

Ya, it's definitely a crap shoot. It took Billups a few years to really get going.

So they should build through the lottery?

Bah... I got my history wrong. He got traded to the Raps during his rookie season, but only played the remaining of that first year there. Then he went to Denver and got some good PT where he showed some promise with Van Exel, then to Minny where he really proved himself. I remember Minny lamenting the fact that he left in free agency to go to Detroit.

Kemba Walker just hit the game winner for the Bobcats against the Hawks.

Clippers/Lakers on NBATV. Hopefully, it will be a good game so I can catch the 4th quarter after the Blazers game.

Kemba is a gunner. He's like Bayless but can actually finish. He also has the tunnel vision that Bayless suffers from.

Kemba doesnt need to be a star. If he has a Ben Gordon type career and they have a top 5 pick this year and the year after they are set.

Gerald Henderson is a prospect as much as you want to laugh at it.

The Clippers look really good. Paul is the best PG in the NBA.

Old man Pau is moving a lot less spry.

CP3 is a monster. I still hate him for ditching small for big market like those other douches though.

Who cares. He went to the Clippers.

I'd want out of a franchise that can't find an owner as well.

Hehe. I'd say I almost feel bad for you guys, but you've had enough good years that I'll relish your pain no matter how short lived.

    Afflalo gets 5 yrs/ $43mil from DEN.

I'm expecting Nic will get a similar contract.

Nic really needs a "breakout" type year the way Afflalo had last year to get that kind of scratch. Something tells me Nic's contract is going to come down to two things. 1) what they do with Gerald Wallace before the trading deadline and 2) Nic playing aggressively on offense and finally putting his defensive potential together. My gut says they'll give him an extension worth about 4 years 28 million (or thereabouts).
