And I agree with your comment on Boyle as a 6th dman Prod. As a 6th dman he is VERY good. I don't hate Boyle like some do in here, he is the new whipping boy, but he is soft with the puck sometimes.

As for the Isles pounding us more than the Caps, I disagree. Those two teams are both big heavy teams, so I think either way that will be a very physical series. I don't see much of a difference IMO.

But I am happy it's going 7. Tavares got knocked around a ton today, love the fact that he has 60 more minutes of that coming his way.

Boyle is a 6th d-men when Klein is playing. He is ok as a 6th but thats it. He should be getting less minutes when Klein comes back.

I really think it is close. I actually think the Isles/Caps are very similar teams. I just think the Caps are a more talented team as you said as well. BUT it does get much closer when you factor in the NY rivalry...I agree.

Real close, but happy it is going 7 so they pound each other some more.

I think the Caps win game 7 though...surprised if the Isles win a game 7 in DC.

Isles are defensively depleted and a shaky goalie and are the team we want if we have our choice. Rangers play well against caps also so will be confident against either one.

I cannot see Klein not being back game 1. He was pretty close in game 5, now 5 or 6 days later I have to think he plays.

Right, I'm not trying to sell the Caps short here. But with that extra gear the Isles seem to find against us, Martin and Clutterbuck will be running around with just a bit more malice and Glass only does so much.

Unless he has some setback leading up to it I would assume he's ready to go.

I'm with mel on this for those exact reasons.

Look at it this way, if it wasn't the NYI but the BJ's instead with the same team as the Isles, I think we'd all root for the BJ's, it's the NY rivalry that concerns us with the Isles. Now I get that, but I think the Caps are better so I lean wanting the Isles more.

With that said, either way just happy that series went 7, and that will be a physical series no matter what.

those signings by Snow during the summer have paid huge dividends for Isles. Boychuck, Leddy, Halak, Kulimen and Grabovski are real strong players. The stiffs are Bailey. Okposo, Neilson, Grabner. Isles would never have sniffed the playoffs without those signings

AV said he was alright, but the team said being evaluated still. We'll see...

And we agree 100% on that "4th line" of the Isles Prod. That line was the difference early in the year when the Isles won games 1-3 against us. I love that line (but really hate them...:)).

I don't trust Halak at all, but he is much better than Nabby and any other goalie they could have gotten this past summer puck.

As for Leddy and Boy, great job by Snow to take advantage of cap strapped teams and adding those two for not much because their teams had to dump them. And now both are signed long term.

How about Anderson coming in to rescue the Sens a couple games in a row now. Prust throwing spears into goalie chests, Subban literally turning into a turtle as his sweater gets pulled over his head as he cowers on the ice...go Sens go

If the Sens started Andy in game 2 they would be up 3-2 IMO.

That was so cheap by Prust. After that and last year against Step, makes me say Prust is a cheap f*ck. Was he that dirty when he played for us? I don't remember him being that way.

On the winning goal, Alzner & Ovechkin boarded Tavares and neither
ref, Pochmara or O'Rourke, had his arm raised. Refs swallowed their
whistles. It was not a well officiated game.

Funny and true Step. He hasn't done much in 8 playoff games with TB.

I would love to see the Wings win this game.

Ovechkin does that boarding shit constantly. He deserves an elbow to the teeth on one of his charges.
