    Yeah, I'm not happy with that at all. Adding a decent to good defender in Vermaelen is nice but not at the expense of losing Toure, who has been our best central defender. But the chemistry issues between him and Gallas are unresolved.

    Also, I got to see a bit of Melo today in the Brazil/Italy game. Seems to be a bit wild, not much like Gilberto. But his aggressiveness/creativity could lead to some interesting play if we go diamond with Fabregas a few dozen yards ahead of him.

    - Nicklas Bendtner has been drawing interest from Roma but is "fully committed" to Arsenal, according to his pop.

    Pretty much all there is for today.

    Marcus Berg is being linked to Arsenal again, though it seems more likely he will move to Spain instead.

    Midfielder Lorik Cana would be allowed to join a Premier League side this summer, according to his current club.

    The 25-year-old Albania international has been linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Everton after an impressive season in Ligue 1.

    And current club Marseille claim they will not stand in the way of their captain should he request a move to England.

    "It's not that he's shown his desire to leave," said sporting director Jose Anigo.

    "It's simply that at a given moment it's been four years that Lorik is here and he has the right to want to experience other things.

    "Today we're open to his transfer, if something happens we'll listen."
