Bit of a surprise--Fabianski is done for the season. He was doing pretty well so this is a disappointment. He's getting shoulder surgery done. Now I'll have to learn how to spell WS's name.

Song to miss the Newcastle game.

Song is back in the line-up and had a great game against Wolves.

Nasri is back in training and it set to be back in a week (as of today). This puts him as a doubt for the first-leg on Wednesday but there is still a slight chance he'll feature against Barcelona.

Vermaelen is also back in training and has been declared 'fit'. Wenger wants to play him in a couple of Reserve matches so I'm guessing around 2-3 weeks until we see him back in the first team.

Rosicky picked up a groin injury while on international duty and missed the Wolves match. He has not been given a return date but he'll be happy he finally scored a goal.

Djourou's injury might not be so bad. He may be back before the season is through, possibly even next month.

    Injured for West Brom:

Alex Song - no timeframe given for return. Has been out since Carling Cup final. At least he's back in training, according to Wilshere.
    Walcott -
set to miss England's qualifier against Wales and Arsenal's trip to West Brom. Two weeks.
Chesney - out for at least a month after breaking his finger against Barcelona.
Fabregas - touch-and-go until Friday. My bet is that he will feature on the bench.
Vermaelen - I don't even know what the fuck is going on here. Conspiracy.

That's five starters out. One ray of hope: Ramsey has returned.

Walcott, Fabregas, Djourou, Frimpong, Vermaelen, and Tex are all back. Vermaelen to feature in next reserves match.

J-Willy's ankle injury is minor and he will be ready to go for the season opener, if not this weekend.

Wilshere told his Twitter followers he will be out for 2-3 months.

There is a yet-unsubstantiated rumour that Vermaelen needs surgery on his ankle.

I'm seeing a report that he has had surgery and will be out 6-8 weeks. Bummer.

Looks like Vertesacker won't be seen for a while; we'll have Kossacker instead.

Do we ever get good injury news?

Jack Wilshere is going to be out for 4-5 months.

Sagna has a broken leg. He will be out for several months.

Expect to see a lot more of "I really am not ready for this" Carl Jenks.

    Everything's coming up roses.

Santos blew his ankle out in the pointless Olympiakos game and will be out a few months, 3-4 minimum. I don't mind him playing in it but this is exactly why we kept out our other starters, to rest and prevent injury... I guess we're stuck with Vermaelen at LB and Djourou at RB for a while yet. Very little coverage now at any defensive position.

Our boy Jack is on schedule to return in three weeks or so.

Will it be 'like a new signing?' AW will let us know.

^ Sounds like a setback could have Wilshere out for the remainder of the season. Dang.

Good news is Sagna is back in full training. Arteta and Henry are "close" to full training, as is Gibbs.

Good to see Bacr3, Henry, and Arteta back in the game.

Looks like early reports indicating Willy will be out for the remainder of the campaign might be premature.
