Tom Rosicky will miss the CL game vs. AZ but Gael Clichy is back from tweaking his ankle. Almunia is healthy again but only poor performances by Mannone will let him back into the starting eleven. Nicklas Bendtner and Eduardo (both groin), Denilson (back) and centre-half Johan Djourou (knee) remain sidelined.
Samir Nasri and Lukasz Fabianski could both play tomorrow in Arsenal's Carling Cup game vs. Liverpuddle.
Clichy will be out for at least a month with a back injury. He is having a scan later today so hopefully it isn't as bad as first believed. Arsenal.com BBC Gibbs will take his place for the Champions League match -- He can definitely handle it.
Denilson and Walcott are set to be back in training in a matter of weeks while Traore and Vela are on the brink of joining the first-team squad. Apart from them, Arsenal's current injury list reads: Gael Clichy (back), Nicklas Bendtner (groin), Lukasz Fabianski (thigh), Johan Djourou (knee) and Jack Wilshere (ankle). There were no more injuries from the Alkmaar match.
A hernia operation will keep Nicklas Bendtner out of action for several weeks longer than anticipated.
Robin van Persie - ankle - 4 to 6 weeks; Abou Diaby - hip - day to day; Kieran Gibbs - metatarsal - 3 months;
Good news for Gibbs--he only suffered bruising, not a fracture. He won't be out nearly as long as predicted.
Every time I see this thread updated, I expect to see that Cesc has been injured. :knockonwood: As is usual for the past few seasons Arsenal is flying along, only to have our season derailed by injuries.
