Fabianski, Traore, Vela, and (finally) Denilson have been removed from the injured list. Diaby could be back vs. Chelsea.
Way to go, Dub. Fabregas could be out for a couple of weeks after sustaining an ankle injury. http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/30537/fabregas-injury
True we're not. Yet. It's starting to form a very similar pattern to previous seasons though. Just being a bit pessimistic I suppose. Yep. You got me. Well played.
There is no current time-frame but we'll probably get an update after his operation but I'm guessing around 10 weeks. William Gallas and Arshavin both picked up knocks in the game but Wenger has said that they should be fit for the game against Chelsea. I'm sort of apprehensive about the game seeing as we'll have to rely on Traore in the left-back role.
^ He looked good, if a bit over-aggressive, against Sunderland. Perhaps we'll throw Eboue in there instead? He's more experienced though doesn't have Traore's pace, seemingly. AA picks up a knock every game. It's amazing how good he is considering he's got the body of a tween.
Current injuries and updates: Kieron Gibbs -- Broken metatarsal. Will be out for at least 2-3 months. William Gallas -- Bruised eye and ankle knock. Out for a couple of days, should be fit for Chelsea. Abou Diaby -- Calf. Out for a month. Gael Clichy -- Back stress-fracture. Has made good recovery and will be back in around three weeks. Lukasz Fabianki -- Thigh. Fabianski will play in a reserves match against Villa later this week. Robin van Persie -- Ankle ligaments. RVP will be out for at least six weeks. That would be seven players that star in the first-team squad (including bench).
Hm, a couple of guys on Twitter were saying that Vermaelen (left-footed) and Sagna can also play on the left-flank but I can't really see that happening. It's most likely that we'll see Traore start there, but you never know with Wenger.
One last thing, our attack looks scary when our full squad is back. Song ripping people's faces off, Denilson wrecking the back of the net, Fabregas just being fucking Jesus, Arshavin running around like a god damn Russian midget addicted to coke, van Persie spinning around with a rocket attached to his left boot, and Nasri getting his leg's snapped. Or if that doesn't work, you can always have Walcott in there running full-tilt at everything and airing shots into the stratosphere.
