Dude I have that too

Yah, I got it in NOLA at some gift shop and thought it'd look dope. It does, get a lot of dap on it.

The arbys poster, not so much. I kind of want to put a vintage italian Martini poster up, but that's kind of too mainstream.

I'm more of a decor guy (lamps, clocks, vases, etc.), but I do have a couple pieces hanging on my walls.

The first is a large early Leroy Neiman serigraph that hangs above my stereo:

Neiman-1-Large.jpg

It's from 1961 and much more subtle than the bold, primary colors of Neiman's later work. Not the best photo (it's behind glass, so hard to photograph without getting reflections), but if you click on the image to see it full size, you can better see the details in the print.

Although it is a serigraph, it is hand signed (in addition to being block signed):

Neiman-2.jpg

Bought it an an art auction in 1993 on a cruise for our 10th wedding anniversary. My ex-wife never liked it. So, it sat unframed in a closet until I moved out, got it framed and hung it in 2012.

It's a pretty large print - wider than the Danish Modern credenza my stereo sits on below it:

Another piece I have on a different wall in the same space is a Pearl Jam gig poster from 2013. By then, it was officially called Moda Center, but I'm glad the poster says Rose Garden on it.

Again, a crappy photo, trying to avoid reflections, that doesn't do the print justice. The print has so much detail and luminosity. It's a doomsday clock by the artist Emek.

I take my son to a lot of concerts and we always pick up some merch to help remember the shows we attend together. It's often tour shirts, but can also be posters, key chains, CDs, whatever. We got to the show early and were looking at the merch booths and both fell in love with this poster. At $40/each, they were about 2x - 3x the cost of most gig posters, but so worth it. I bought two, and took them to my car and laid them plat in the back so they wouldn't get damaged during the show. By the time I got back to the arena, the poster had sold out. I framed them the following week and hung one in my son's bedroom at my ex-wife's place and the other at my place.

I also like album cover art. So, I hung a small shelf to the left of the Neiman print where I can rotate album covers as the mood strikes. One of my favorites is the cover of Dave Brubeck's Time Out by S. Neil Fujita:

I like ur style.

Neiman was friends with my boss, he had a bunch of art but I think he sold or donated most of it.

Neiman was huge during the 70s and 80s - official artist for five different Olympics, multiple Super Bowls, the Kentucky Derby, the Master, etc., but most people don't recognize that print as a Neiman - which makes me like it even more. Plus, it just fits in with my style better than his later works.

I'm also a big fan of S. Neil Fujita. In addition to being the art director at Columbia Records back in the 50s, he also did the cover art for The Godfather and In Cold Blood.

I tend to like the design of most things from that time period (cars, furniture, clocks, lamps, etc.).

This is the MasterCrafters Starlight Television Clock (1959) I licked up at Goodwill on my birthday last summer:

Not terribly valuable (definitely worth more then the $6.99 I paid for it), but one of my favorite pieces.

I had that very Dave Brubeck record album back in the 60s.
Also, your receiver looks nearly identical to my old Pioneer, the one with the fet front end for picking up really sensitive signals, well, sensitive for those days.

The receiver in that photo is a little Sherwood S-7100A. I tend to rotate through quite a bit of equipment and usually have three or four systems set up at home/work. I moved that Sherwood, along with a little Technics clamshell/linear tracking turntable into my office at work. The amp that always seems to find it's way back into my main vinyl listening system is the Yamaha A-1000. That was their top of the line integrated amp from 1983. I recently added a Harman Kardon T60 turntable, their top of the line model from 1983, to that system and they seem to work quite well together:

Thats pretty freaking awesome!!!!

I also collect post cards if the image is unique, interesting, or outlandish.

I'm surprised one name has not been mentioned yet. Bob Ross. I would occasionally watch his painting show with my dad.

I've seen your Meyers Leonard jersey already! I've got an actual Portland Trailblazer pot grinder with the pinwheel...top that!

I've probably got at least a half dozen Blazer jerseys. Most are of Blazers in the past such as Brandon Roy. I do remember getting a Leonard Jersey.
