    Ron Artest has been beating fans for years, was suspended last year for a cheap shot, and only gets 7 games from skulling a guy?

    It's the WWE. Part of me is glad I don't have to watch the Blazers play 5 on 8 this year in the playoffs.

    Rasheed Wallace gave a ref a dirty look. What did he get, 10 games? And it's not a matter of reputation; Sheed had a rep for mouthing off, World Peace a well deserved rep for getting physical.

    7 games my ass! Ed Schultz suggested a month, I think that's more in line, considering his history. Does he have to cause serious injury before the NBA acts?

    The Lakers are likely to lose their first round series because of this suspension (which is just fine by me). I would have been happier if they had made it an 8 game suspension, however, so there would be no chance of MWP being able to play in a Game 7, should the Lakers last that long.

    Rasheed confronted a ref in the loading dock area of the Rose Garden. He got 7 games, I think. I remember that was back when I was still defending Sheed on the ESPN board.

    Verbal vs physical.

    From a hundred feet away, Sheed yelled a threat at Donaghy, but everyone except Stu Jackson knew that "I'm going to kick your ass" is an empty threat. It was only verbal, like all Sheed infractions.

    Peace got the same number of games, 7, for actually hurting someone. It was no kiss when he concussed Harden. He gave him a concussing he'll never forget.

    Donaghy fixed the game by T-ing up Sheed for no reason, inciting him, then throwing him out of the game. Sheed confronted him about the obvious crime, and was summarily suspended by the league for 7 games. NBA action is fan-tastic.
