Artest shouldnt have been ejected in either of his instances. I actually thought that the two games in LA that the Lakers werent getting "home court loving" from the refs at all. The refs let the team that is physical get away with more contact(as it normally is)...so far that team has been HOU.
I hope the Lakers lose when they play against just about anyone. Heck, I would root for the evil space monster team from Space Jam against LA. Beat LA!

I realize that, but I'm really trying to get at why a thread would be made about houston rockets fans?...Are these classless fans on the board, people you know, our perception around the league???.....I just never knew we were classified as "classless." If anything I'd call the majority of fans I see at Toyota Center a bunch of corporate snobs who know nothing about b-ball......Real rockets fans are very appreciative of even being able to get out of the 1st round since '97.......
The Portland media made a big deal out of the drunken rednecks who threw beer on people, called players the "N" word, and generally behaved like the worst stereotype of white-trash hooligan. Personally, I am willing to believe those cretins do not represent Houston fans in general. OTOH, I do find it disturbing that this behavior supposedly happened right in front of arena security, and no action was taken. That is not, however, the fault of the rest of the fans - that anger should be directed at arena management. The other issue that bugged people, was when some "Houston fans" on another board actually insulted Blazer fans for giving Mutombo an ovation. Even for internet trolls, that was pretty bloody stupid!
The Blazers aren't lame, they just needed more experience. I'm sure they'll be dangerous next season.
