They have too many old players and need some youth to pick up the pace. Players like Barton, claver and Leonard would help them greatly

Mags... if you think Leonard is trash, I doubt the Nets think he's going to be a rotation player.

I don't think Leonard is trash. He's just young and plays like a pussy. In two to three years, he could be a dominate player. But Leonard is just the add in so they won't be dead in 3 years with the old farts all stars get too old.

Barton and Claver can help them immediately. Williams and B Lopez will be coming back pretty soon.

The thing is, they've completely mortgaged their future to win now, and I don't think that's going to change. If anything, I think they'll go deeper in the hole. Move Lopez for another difference maker. Guys like Claver and Barton simply aren't going to make a difference for them.

If that's the truth, how awesome would it to be to have the Lopez brothers here?!

We would have to give up way too much, including RoLo.

I don't see us getting Asik at all. Lopez, Freeland, TRob, LA and Leonard are able to play the 4-5 when going big. Leonard to me is a 4 and people want to make him a 5. All these guys make freethrows and Asik doesn't. I see the Lakers dangling Kaman for Asik. Meyers can be a really, really good PF with some experience. He doesn't seem to have a centers game at all. Leonard and TRob compliment each other because they play opposite styles. The loss to the Mavs was a TEAM loss and I'm not for throwing Wes or Mo under the bus becuase they shot cold. It's not easy to win against good teams when they don't shoot well and they didn't. We still almost won that game.

Yup. Portland was playing their 5th game in 7 nights, and the 2nd of a back-to-back. Dallas was playing their 3rd game in 7 nights, and had TWO day off to prepare for Portland. Tired legs leads to poor shooting, as does mental fatigue. Lost on a buzzer beater. God help some of y'all if they lose two or three games in a row.

Except the bench hasn't really been playing well for a while.

If I see something that can be improved upon, I'm going to say it. The team is playing great, the starters are amazing, but our bench is still one of the worst in the league. I think that can be improved upon.

Wes was not "amazing." And if you want to blame someone's D on the last shot, it was Wes who ran the long way around a weak pick that allowed Monte to get loose and sink the game winner.

But, I'm not. It was a team loss.

I'm not talking about just one game. Wes struggled in that one game, our bench has not been great over the span of the first 20 games. I'm not just talking about the Dallas game.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Natebishop3 again.

Our bench has been serviceable all year and that is about as good as we could have hoped for. Adding one more piece could not hurt though.

I think our bench is just young and inexperienced and will get better as the season goes on. I like Crabbe's potential alot and im also a big fan of CJ. Just inexperienced and injured at the moment. I think Trob is also going to play better as he gets a little more comfortable in his role. We have some great pieces on our bench that hasn't matured yet and I think we would be dumb in not giving them at least a half a season to develop and get comfortable.
