I wonder if our "president" will make any effort to fix this issue. But since it was a hate crime against minorities, I doubt it. It's technically not an assault rifle. It's more like a near assault rifle. It doesn't have the fully automatic feature of the true AR-15. I've disassembled an AR-15 and reassembled it back in 1968. People tell me it can be easily modified to include the automatic feature but I myself have no idea. Pardon me, it was similar to an AK-47 Russian assault rifle.
Don't know what SKS stands for. The police chief says he was armed with an AK-47 assault-type rifle. I believe that's different than the SKS.

Why didn't you say so sooner? It works fine going forward but I've got a blown vacuum tube and I can't go back too far, at least not until I get off my lazy ass and fix it. Sometimes I just spit on it and give it a good shake while cussing it out in a very loud voice and it works.
I looked it up and know part of what you say but I was just wondering how it could be confused with the AK-47 that the chief of police identified.
