Well said; no need to rock the boat before the off-season. If Maretll wilts in the playoffs and Dante swoops in and saves the day, awesome. If not, no big shakes; Martell and Dante are barely playing 16 minutes total right now, and that will likely go down in the playoffs.

This is what I like about Webster. He seems to accept his role on the team, has kept on a (genuinely?) happy attitude. At some point I think he let all the pressure go (being the HS phenom) and has decided to enjoythe fact he has a decent contract and likes playing with this group of guys.

Webster looks like he is enjoying his time on the team these days. I wish I felt the same vibe from Rudy.

Webster is done as far as I am concerned. He has no place on this team. I hope we trade him and Bayless this summer for a good point guard.

As has been brought up throughout this thread, Webster's biggest issue is confidence. If I were Nate, I wouldn't let Webs try to find his groove from the three point line. I would run a play for him where he drives and scores in the paint. Once he tastes success on offense, it seems to steamroll. Unfortunately, the same thing can be said once he tastes failure.

That being said, his defense and hustle have been underrated by many on this board.

Sadly Webs hasn't shown any improvement and looks to have regressed. *Sigh* I have zero confidence in his shot and when he tries to shoot the ball after putting it on the floor it gets embarrassing. I'm not sure his problem is "fixable." It seems either you have it or you don't when it comes to being a cold blooded shooter.

that would be a neat trick, given that neither really has much value. Maybe the Clippers will trade again? :D

Watching Martell is painful. I've never seen him take so many off-balanced jumpers and fade away three's like he has been doing lately. WTF is up with that?

I can't think of a player in the NBA Durant hasn't burned. And THAT makes Webster a poor player????

Yeah, Durant abuses everybody. Still, Webster is a below average player right now, and this far into his career, it is far past time for him to beat out a Nic Batum.

The Webster contract extension may be the worst Pritchard signing of his era. At times, it would make more sense to just go small with Rudy or Bayless instead of giving Martell time on the court at SF.

So you swing between your two sides on whether he will mature and stop swinging between his two sides.

Webster is bad at everything on offense right now. He needs to be planted in the corner to shoot threes. That's his future on offense in the NBA for whichever team will have him.
