Mrs SPD blew out a disc in her lower back in Sept. Been in a lot of pain. Her doc said it's one of the worst he's seen and suprised she wasn't in a wheelchair. Because of covid her sugery has been rescheduled twice, oops, I mean with the hopsitals filling up, she didn't have covid. Anyway, we're here. Tested, screened, isolated. The caution is incredible. Surgery was suppose to start at 11:00 but now delayed. Stressful.
Hope this all goes well for you all, the surgery goes well and the recovery is not too tough. Not a fun experience, I am sure. My FIL just had a spine surgery on Monday. Very stressful (he is in his 80s).
My wife went through that about 10 years ago. Her doctor told her the same thing as your wife’s did. Lotta anxiety about ever feeling better but the relief from the surgery was absolutely immediate. Here’s hoping it goes that way for Mr. SPD!
I'm wearing a mask and a face shield and there are nurses wearing more than that. They have a mask w/ connected shield and then they're putting on fresh 2nd mask and shield over the first one when they come into the room. Very tripy.
Hey, Sly...prayers with the Mrs. and you. I had surgery last week and the hospital wouldn't allow my wife to visit....at all. She was pretty upset. COVID world.
