This is a game that the Nets should win at home against an inferior team. Thing to look for is Wright and Jefferson continuing to step up their games, if they do, and Carter can't have one bad game after another for much longer, the Nets should win.

This is going to be one tough game, but an important one. The team needs to build confidence and up morale early in the season, because those two things ultimately affect chemistry which affects quality of play, which builds up confidence and morale, and then the cycle starts all over again. Everyearly season win isimportantbecause if we win 7 of our first 10, that's only going to give the players more confidence for the nextfew games, and so on. This is a very winnable game, we're favorites and despite the Hawks' youth, energy and determination, we're themore talentedteam and we need to win this game.
Carter will need to step up tonight, since nobody on the Hawks can really defend him. You may make a case for Josh Smith, who's starting to look like Andrei Kirilenko 2008, but he's not a good enough man to man defender in order to stop VC. Kidd also needs to capitalize on the Hawks' point guards' below average defensive capabilities. Neither Law IV nor Anthony Johnson can even get remotely close to stopping him in the post. Wright will be needed on defense to guard Joe Johnson, and if he can slow him down and force him to take low percentage shots, there goes the Hawks' main scoring threat.
Kidd: 14 points 11 rebounds 7 assists
Carter: 25 points6 rebounds 5 assists
Wright: 10 points5 rebounds 2 assists
Jefferson: 20 points 10 rebounds 4 assists
Collins: 2 points 3 rebounds
Magloire:8 points 4 rebounds
Krstic: 10 points 4 rebounds
Armstrong: 7 points 3 assists
Allen: DNP
Josh Boone: DNP
Nachbar: 16 points
Williams: 3 points 2 rebounds
END RESULT: Nets win 115-106

QUOTE (GMJigga)

Actually it does make sense to combine bets just to save photoshop time.

YEP! Cause IDK, How to make sigs LOL!

QUOTE (GMJigga)

Actually it does make sense to combine bets just to save photoshop time.

Yeah. Lets talk strategy

Josh Smith is making himself known on both ends of the court. Too bad he's a dirty cheater and can't rebound without fouling someone

QUOTE (GMJigga)

I shot Marvin in the face!

Bitch, takin mah line

When I see Magloire, Allen and Wright come in off the bench I no longer think, "Oh shit, please don't blow the lead."
