The dude drafted CJ at #10 and got Nurkic and 1st for Plumlee. Of course people want some of his magic on their team.
They agree to this trade and they can have Olshey. http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lnzdh6t
I hope our stupid Portland media (quick and clownzano) don't run NO out of town. We need a creative GM like NO in Portland who has connections around the league. We can't sign stars so we need to get creative with trades and the draft. So far NO has done an outstanding job.
Being an NBA GM is like being a baseball player. Batting .300 is Stellar, especially if you knock a few out the park.
Atlanta like the re-signing of Biebs, and paying Crabbe and Turner that much money? Okay....take those players and you can have Olshey and his LA bumper sticker.
It doesn't make sense for Portland to let Olshey go unless they have someone better lined up. I don't think Olshey is a great GM--he's probably about average. Another average GM wouldn't be worth the disruption, so unless the team can secure the services of someone well above average, they should be denying permission to talk to him.
