@ Rudeezy. Mathematically this series isn't over, but realistically the Lakers look done. No team has come down from a 3-1 deficit, but LA has been down before. If anyone can come back, it's LA. However, they shouldn't even be in this position anyways. The Pistons have outplayed them in every game, we could be looking at a 4-0 Piston sweep. Hopefully the Pistons could do us all the favor and finish things off on Tuesday.
I pray for a collapse by the Pistons. But in reality I don't see it happening. Detroit is too focused too hungry and too damn good for this Laker squad.
The series seems over. The Lakers aren't competing, and at this point aren't even trying. They are still joking around with the media thinking that at any moment, they can turn their offense "on" and dominate the Pistons. Detroit takes every post-game conference, and actual game, very seriously helping them be better mentally prepared. The Pistons won the first 3 games (Basically, first 4 actually) and the Lakers have not shown one way that they could win against the Pistons, I doubt that they will find a miracle cure to all their problems on offense.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting olskoolFunktitude:</div><div class="quote_post">this is far from over. I still expect the lakers to win this seroes</div> Game 5 will be a great game (especially a great game to be in Detroit for). I can't wait for the party to happen (both before, during, and after the game). Pistons fans are too loyal and hungry to give it up. Heck, floor seats are selling for over $5,000 a piece, but most people won't think about selling them for anything. Lakers have, in my opinion, about a 1% chance of winning. Heres a trivia question for all you lakers fans. Q. How many 2004 Finals games have the lakers led after regulation time ended? Q. How many points did Lakers score in game 3 of the 2004 finals series? Q. How many points did the Pistons win by in game 3 of the 2004 Series? True/False: The Lakers was only the 3rd team to be held under 60 points in a Finals games since the shot clock era.
Win or lose, I will be a Laker fan. I have been for over 20 years. I have always heard that it ain't over till the fat lady sings. Being down 3 games to one and having to win game 5 at Detroit, seems impossible by most. Anything is possible this season with the way the Lakers have played. I won't admit that the Pistons have won until they have won 4 games. If and when this happens, I won't be complaining about the officiating but about the lack of adjusting to the Pistons. My coach said the two most important things win or lose is defense and playing unselfishly as a team. The Pistons are doing this as of now and I have to admit they are the better team because of the way they are playing. This is a big IF, if Karl Malone was healthy even without Payton, the Lakers wouldn't be facing elimination in Game 5, they would be winning the Finals in game 5. Hopefully, Laker fans will congradulate the Pistons if and when they win the Championship. If the Lakers lose, maybe it will wake up the management to give Shag some players like Pistons have. I feel that Jackson, Malone, Payton and Fox will retire. Kobe will leave because no one can afford Shag's $33 million. The next few season will be interesting and exciting in their rebuilding. Long live the Lakers!!!!!!!!!!!

If my mathematical mind is still accurate that is over 60. My prediction: Lakers win game 5 Lakers Win game 6 Lakers LOSE game 7. Kobe misses last shot.
