I just think that Corgan's voice turns a lot of people off of them, kind of like Kiedis' voice turns a lot of people off of the Peppers. As for Zwan, Corgan seems to have a weird obsession with female musicians. No way should Paz Lenchantin (also from APC) have been the bass player. She's probably the most overrated bassist out there, just because she's a woman. Not that she was the only flaw with Zwan, but choosing a bassist who could actually play would have been a good start for them.
