Finally after years of suffering Adelaide United has finally defeated Melbourne 4-1. IMHO the Adelaide/Melbourne rivalry is the most intense in the A-League; as such the Melbourne players started kicking, and elbowing the Adelaide players when they went behind, but Adelaide was too good in the end.
