No, I think you obviously haven't paid attention to the whole thread. Or at least read everything I read before you chose to respond.

 

He probably left it out because that quote is ambiguous. It's a bit confusing (at least just in the one line you posted). The parent admits the child needs punishing if involved. Then there is the "but" following by the parent believing their child isn't the shooter. Is the parent saying that the child shouldn't be punished if he didn't pull the trigger? Cuz that would be bullshit. If you're involved, you're involved, whether or not you pull the trigger. But at least the parent acknowledges that punishment is needed if guilty. Not sure if your quote is from one of the other parents, or the first parent of the boy to speak, as I've seen similar quotes from one of the parents acknowledging the need for punishment if their child is involved.
