I don't get why people on this board don't understand the difference between the Zimmerman case and open-and-shut cases like this one. There was a huge controversy in the Zimmerman case because many people felt justice wasn't being served. This case is 100% different. Why would there be blowback?

Why was there a huge controversy about the Zimmerman case?

Was it because of facts?

It was because of a controversy created out of LIES.

Did you not notice that the case against Zimmerman fell apart during trial, despite the best efforts of the prosecution to gin up the case and the judge to give the prosecution a ton of leeway.

I find it very odd that people were claiming racism/prejudice in the Zimmerman case, and that was the cause of so much outrage. Yet, in this case, it's coming out that one of the initiators is very prejudiced against white people, and that was a big part of the motivation in shooting who they shot, allegedly.

In the Zimmerman case, the racism/prejudice claim is very debatable. In this case in OK, it's not debatable. Yet, people are raging about racism/prejudice in the Zimmerman case, but not in this OK case. Seems odd to me?? I guess I need someone to explain this to me.
