My needle is throbbing at the idea of getting PG.

    Still think it never happens...

I'd bet the house that the Bulls trade Butler to Boston.

PG would be my primary target.

Milsap is 31, but he is an underrated guy here. Good defender, good teammate, would fit well with Nurk

Boston does have the assets, but do the Bulls wanna trade him in conference?

He's also due for a mega max extension.

So then why would you be disappointed if it doesn't? :dunno:

You trade him in conference if they are willing to give up the Nets pick. If not, they shouldn't do any deals with the Celtics.

Getting ready for a big extension when he will be 33 years old next season. I like him but for the money he will want, like him at 27-28 and not at 33. Too much falloff ahead.

Yeah, I think we missed the Milsap boat. Would have been cool if we had landed him way back when.

I really want a trade, but if he's the only one we can get, I'd rather stick to the draft. Some team will be dumb enough to max him out.

I like DA but he's also the same guy that said Portland would be a FA destination this past offseason, so, yeah.

Of that list, I want PG best, but only with assurance of a contract extension.

Next is Jimmy. He'd be higher than PG if he didn't have ego issues.

Whiteside is the least talented of the lot, but he's locked up for 4yrs.

I'd take any of the three for our picks. Not touching Millsap for a pick.

Millsap too old for our building project. He's well into his prime years right now.
Whiteside, would still be a needle-mover for this team.
Butler, would be a stud at SG or SF. Bring defense to our starting lineup.
Paul George, would be the bomb! A serious, All-NBA level player at SF. Creates his own shot, defends, clutch.

I don't expect any of these to actually happen, but I'd be glad if they did.

Okafor's price had to come down a bit yesterday as well. Pelicans off the board. Could he be taken for just a 1st? If so, do it.
Could we send them either Turner or Crabbe to get some relief from Luxury level? If so, do it.

Ideally, George would be the best fit (if it didn't cost us Dame, CJ or Nurkic).
