    They already made their peace with Yandle and letting it play out. I 100% agree if we are struggling and not a SC team they will deal him, but if we are in it and looking good they will not sell off Yandle for a pick.

    Anyway...I am done with this now. There are 55 games left in the season. We just passed the 1/4 pole. We are tied for 1st place. This is way premature by all of us. Let's see where this team is in 8 weeks or so. Then we can see which direction they will go.

    Boy, Eric Staal could be the final piece here if gorton could figure out how to make the salary and players back and forth work. And maybe it also gives mark a jolt up his ass.

    Would only add up chuck if that team has surplus forwards like we have in LD-men

    E. Staal is obviously better than J. Staal but J is locked up long term. So, he would be the guy I dealt for.

    Yeah...but that's exactly why the Canes want to deal Eric not Jordan.

    If you deal for Eric in March his salary will be half or less i'm assuming so that puts it at around 4 or so. I don't know that we have enough pieces to do it compared to what others will in terms of a higher pick and slightly better prospect pool. Assuming you won't deal Skjei or PB.
