Many would have given these same type of reasons why the Wolves, Cavs, and Suns wouldn't do big trades last year; then they all did them. Situations change, teams directions change, and teams do trades we don't expect. Odds might be against and single team doing that, but odds are very high one of the 29 teams will consider doing that. Thus if there isn't a very good deal available for Dame now the smart play is to wait.
Not as much as prior years - This years free agency wasn't deep with talent. Young players and picks won't be affected by December and that's the assets Portland should value.
Sure, a team or two might overachieve, but then it has to want to trade a bunch of assets (to beat Miami's best offer) for a guy who doesn't fit their timeline at all and might not want to be there. Tough ask.
Brooklyn is still my personal favorite landing spot for Dame. Bridges is his boy, and they have a lot of talent on par with pre-CP3 Suns. It might take a stretch of games before he is traded. If Brooklyn can show they are a star away, a star in the East gets injured, or some combination of both happen, the Nets might be willing to give up Simmons, one rookie, and 5 unprotected 1sts.
what gives kingspeed?...you missed an opportunity to post more tweets from clowns just pulling stuff out of their colons
Good chance that @KingSpeed has @Mediocre Man on ignore and didn't see that thread. I'll probably merge them before the night is through
No way. I do not give you my permission. If you have someone like me on ignore you deserve to miss things
