if true.. I agree. I imagine CP3 would be licking his chops to get on a team like this.

well if roy doesnt make the all star team... least he has an excuse ready to go.

but you dont need quick to tell u that roy isnt happy. watch the minny game and you see hes pissed. i mean roy always talked a good game about all that matters is winning but now he seems like he wants his numbers.

Watch the Minny game and see him what? Smiling and joking on the bench? Yeah, I thought he was going to punch someone for making him laugh so hard.

Jason Quick stirs the shit again

Apparently, he's "studied film of Roy's body language" and concluded that "He's probably the most unhappy he's been since he's been in Portland.".

Shame we've just locked him up to a big contract, eh. And I don't see how this is so different from his time in Washington: instead of Nate Robinson hogging the ball, we've got Andre Miller running the team.

    Re: B-Roy unhappy?

Quick said it was just based on him watching the Minny game over again, and focusing on Brandon the entire time.. he said he was going to talk to Roy before or after tonight's game to see what's up, and how he's feeling. Quick just made an assumption.

Re: Jason Quick stirs the shit again

I know I've been in the minority on this, but I've felt all along that Roy is not a top-10 or max contract player because his unique skillset is too difficult to build around.

    Re: B-Roy unhappy?

The funny thing about quick is he tells us not to worry during the first 5 games of piss poor playing and chemistry, then something great happens and he stirs the pot. So what is it quick? Do we worry or relax like you published days ago?

Quick assumed that Oden wasn't going to start on opening night. Quick also assumed that Sergio was going to stay a Blazer because Aldridge was very close with him. I've seen Quick assume a lot of things, usually trying to get readers to want to read "What's next"

    Re: B-Roy unhappy?

listen... go watch the tape of roy on the floor. he looked uninterested, uninvolved and kinda sad. watch the tape. easy as that. clearly he does not like the lineup, miller, or playing sf.

i mean its a bit overdone by quick but not farfetched at all.

i said this yesterday. look it up. roy is not pleased.

    # I too watched tape of that Wolves/Blazers game and Jonny Flynn is the 2009 Body Language MVP10 minutes ago from TweetDeck

Don't know who this guy is - but he sure is funny.

That's like saying "I just finished getting a blowjob, so now I'm as unhappy as I've been all day because I'm not getting a blowjob anymore."

Re: Jason Quick stirs the shit again

Here's what I don't understand about this whole "OMG Roy only had two points" garbage. He had seven assists, which is at least 14 points, and probably more since a couple of those assists led to three-pointers. So let's say it led to 16 points.

If you take those points and give them to Roy and take away his assists, he's got 18 points and 6 rebounds and nobody says shit.

This will get sorted. Roy will get his touches and points. Right now it's a feeling out process. We knew this would take a while. And quite honestly, if Greg hits two free throws against Denver and Nate doesn't lose his mind in the fourth quarter against Atlanta, we're 6-1 right now.

And for the people who keep saying that making this more of an up-tempo offense is going to take away Brandon's contributions, please go watch some video of Brandon's junior and senior seasons at UW. That was an up-and-down team and Brandon excelled.
