Back from Paris!

I have same shoes in all black.

 

I really want to try pressed duck in Paris. Basically they put a duck in a "press" and squish out all the organs to get a sauce. Saw it on Anthony Bourdain's show..looked incredible.

yeah, mine too. so comfortable and lasted me 5 years of abuse and still look really nice. mine i can pass for dressy shoes so i can wear them in vegas clubs, etc.

 

how was La Duree? how much did a macaroon cost? how about one of those coffees?

 

La duree? I'm not sure I went to that. Macaroons were $4 euro each. The coffees are $3.5 euros.

 

Yeah mine went through hell and back. I've had mine for about 3.5 years.

Paris can be hard on the wallet. When I was there once I went to some famous chocolatier to bring home presents. I started pointing at all the truffles and such, and filled five small boxes, each about five inch squared. Ended up costing over $400. Same amount at see's would have been around $100 or less.

 

Dang, woulda, coulda, shoulda. This is the same month I was supposed to be married there. Yes, as in married "there". *sigh*

 

You need to learn how to play the guitar and start writing sappy love songs.
