Bball Breakdown also blames the Thunder for losing the game... but at least he says some nice things towards the end
Posting this media bias and exceptionally lazy and piss poor knowledge about the Blazers is perceive by many around the NBA as whining. What they don't understand is the Portland fans are laughing at them for being lazy and stupid, not crying because they didn't give Portland enough credit. I don't care about getting attention from people who don't appreciate the Blazers. But it makes me laugh to no end when they are forced to talk about Portland and can't string an accurate, or even intelligent, sentence together.
I noticed it too, like they're reading off cue cards so they know the names of the players and a few stats.
The longer it takes these sloths to stop sleeping on Portland, the more dumb they will look when they finally wake up and have to accept the reality. True, the Blazers haven't proven anything by making the playoffs and winning. Patience fellow Blazer fans - patience.
LOL This exactly. It's funny, and it never gets old. If some Blazer fans want to get wrapped up in being called a "soccer mom", or don't find these articles funny, that's too bad. I think these national media guys are missing a great opportunity to sound smart and credible, and it's funny to watch them fumble the ball over, and over, and over...
"Will they come back to earth? Probably." What is with this constant coming back down to earth crap? lol This is a giant load of cognitive dissonance.
That guy sounds like a Thunder fan. Why would he say the loss was "infuriating". Anyway, the Thunder got the benefit of a lot of squirrley plays, like rebounds bouncing off our hands and out of bounds, and some cheap fouls. And we missed wide open 3s as well, so for him to say that, he must be a thunder fan.
Also not talked about much was how the Thunder realistically only had the big lead (11) for a short time. That's the amount that gets reported, not that it fluctuated between Portland up by 3-4 and OKC up by 4-6 for most of the game, outside of the last like 2 minutes of the 1st half.
That comes with taking 3s, wide open or not. They are a low-percentage shot. Which goes hand-in-hand with us coming back down to earth at some point.
Kerr is on, and he's said some complimentary things, but I've been in and out and did write down anything. Barkley put SA and Portland in the same sentence at one point... so that happened.
When people write "come back down to earth" what they are really saying is they aren't a Blazer fan and are hoping for failure. They are not realists by saying so, they are Homers struggling to explain, let alone accept, the success of this Blazer team. Enjoy the ride Blazer fans, and laugh at the rubes. It's a win/win.
