<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple N Gold:</div><div class="quote_post">Wow, it can't get any worse for the Warriors right about now. I suggest they go sign a PG off free agency, Avery Johnson will definetley not get the job done. It's been a sad year for the Warriors...... Easily could have been playoff contenders if everything fell in the right place, and being injury free, to a lottery pick. At least they'll be better next year....Oh wait, how long have we been saying that? </div> I think 9 years now. =(
We should sign Keith Jennings...that guy was money... how about HotSauce from the And1 Mix tapes... maybe that will get a sellout for the Arena the rest of the year... or the Professor, that white guy from Portland on the And1 tour. Either way, I am heartbroken over this season. Every year I get psyched up for the season and know we really don't have a chance. I must admit that this year was the year i had the most hope, but its the end of feb, and i'm bascially done with playoff hopes. But, as always, like all true Warriors fans, i'll stay the course and root for whatever players are on the floor sporting W's jerseys... By the way, are the Euro leagues still going, can we bring in a Euro dude for the rest of the season? give some guy a chance, or is that against league rules if the W's just signe a guy right out of Europe? What does this mean for Damp? You thing his numbers will drop, along with the league's interest? I'm thinking his numbers will diminish and if he does opt out at the end of the year he won't get as big of a contract as he would have gotten if speedy and NVE were playing. As the W's sink, so do the worth of all the W's players. But correlated with that will be his desire to leave the W's as once again they sink, just like every year he's been here.
oh yeah, i forgot to add... What does this mean for Damp? You thing his numbers will drop, along with the league's interest? I don't think Dampier's numbers will drop. He still has a lot to play for, MONEY. He knows that he can't just fall out and if his numbers diminish so will his value.
How about signing Yuta Tabuse (tah-boo-say). Undersized, but extremely fast and athletic at around 5'9" or 5'8". He can take care of the ball and pass really well from what was seen in preseason with Denver. He's very unselfish. Yuta was probably more talked about because he could have been the first Japanese national player to be in the league, but he had some good qualities of a pure point guard to be considered by the Denver Nuggets during training camp. I think he was nicknamed the "Japanese Michael Jordan" because of his ability to create and drive and hit important shots during college so maybe we can combine that with our "French Michael Jordan", Mickael Pietrus, and we can have a two man international Jordan squad. I think we should consider him and all the other training camp invitee point guards that couldn't make an nba roster because of the 15 man limit. I mean we've got no freakin' choice and we're not having Dunleavy run the point like some suggest. BTW Yuta's basketball teammate in college was Alexus Foyle, Adonal's cousin at BYU Hawaii. An interesting degree of separation.

LOL. Yeah, I love Yuta. Give me those small extremely fast guards any day of the week like Boykins/Iverson/Speedy and Mighty Mouse Stoudamire. Really fun to watch when they drive or run a fastbreak. What about Raul Lopez? I think he's pretty fun to watch. Kind of skinny, but he's fast.
I think the Jazz are pretty high on Lopez- he's shown himself to be a good young point guard, and they're probably going to try and hang on to him and Arroyo, and see what happens in the future.
