Only that all 3 have only a few post moves that they go to.

Duncan is skilled in every manner of shooting (using the backboard) and foot movement. You should have picked a better comparison.

    Totally disagree.

It's different when you're in the paint, point-blank range, rather than 10' away.

I'm not saying he isn't more skilled. I am saying that Duncan uses 1 or 2 go to moves, as does Aldridge. Both shoot about the same %, so why should predictability matter?

    .493 4.2
    .507 6.6
    .499 4.6

Those are the career FG%'s and FTA per game for the three. Duncan is by far superior, obviously, but Aldridge is in line with Garnett. All I am saying is predictable post moves are great as long as you shoot well, and he does

Well yeah. He is the best big man of his generation. Some would argue in the history of the game. I guess we can use lebron James to call batum a very inefficient sf.

Some players look more efficient than others simply because they only shoot when they are wide open. Batum has done a lot of this.

This year is different and you see the difference in his shooting percentages. Shooting percentages are down.

    It's a bad comparison.

Over half of LMA's FGA are mid-range jumper or fadeaways.

Seven years in and has any LMA-led team been anything more than an 8th seed? Not even playing with a prime-Roy changed that.

Speaking of inefficiency or efficiency as we were originally discussing. How is LA efficient in your opinion, Mags?

And Garnett was a perennial first-and-out until he got teamed up with two HOFers and a Top 3 PG.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - unless you've got the next Tim Duncan, DO NOT build a team around a PF.

You're not going to win shit with Wally Szczerbiak and Olowokandi as your two best players after Garnett.

    That's on McHale

According to AdjFG% Nic is the 10th highest rated SF and LMA is the 19th ranked PF.
