How do we know this? Of course KP is going to praise his players in public, because he wants their value to be as high as possible. If he went around saying that we needed to make a trade because we have a bunch of average point guards and small forwards, that wouldn't really give us any leverage. Also, how can we just say "make a trade."? So you guys would rather we trade Outlaw and Sergio for Tim Thomas, just so we could make a trade? We don't know what offers KP have been given, so how can we say he isn't trying to make trades. We all want him to make trades that will clearly improve our team, but we don't know if he has been offered one trade this year that will improve our team. I just think it's crazy that people assume because CBSsportsline reports a rumor that these deals are on KP's table. Odds are most the rumors we here and never offered to us, and the ones that are offered to us, we never hear about.
I don't. It's just the indication that I get. Ultimately if he gets a good enough deal, I expect him to pull to trigger.
I agree if a good deal comes his way, he'll pull the trigger. It's not like this guy is gun shy who makes one trade every 2 years. If we don't make a deal, then it means he didn't get a good offer. Until KP says, "we turned down Caron Butler for RLEC, Outlaw, and Sergio." I'm not going to rip him for not making that move.
I just think he's holding out Sergio and Outlaw on potentially smaller deals that could help this team.
