Pretty good. No way Matt Jones goes in 1st rd. No team is dumb enough to use a 1st rd pick on a player who is going to paly a position he never really played college.

TSN disagrees with you, but you make a good point. Although his combine #s are staggering.

Not bad...I wouldn't mind getting Marlin Jackson..he played all 4 DB positions in college so even if he can't step in as a Starting Corner right away he could play some safety and allow Eugene to move back to corner...though I'm starting to think Eugene is going to be a safety for life....he's just too good at it.

He will get drafted on first day. I dont care what kind of numbers you put up, switching positions means you should not get drafted in first round. Exceptions being a end going ot OLB who is physically gifted, becuase he is still going to be doing a lot of similar things. A lineman moving around on the line, i.e. a T to G could still get drafted high. QB to WR is completely different. Yes the mental aspect is much simpler, but he has no experience running routes, so he is going to need a year plus to learn the position. There is ready to play talent in first round, so you dont take a development project that is a risk.

but I'm sure someone is going to jump0 on him in the second because of fear he won't last till their third pick.

Why do you think the Ravens would pick a LB in the first round than a WR they need so badly. They already have Tommy Polley to replace Ed Hartwell.

HAHA thats funny...Tommy Polley to replace hartwell..Polley Couldn't hold Hartwells jock....Plus I just hate rams players and wouldn't want any of their LB's even if it was for free.

Ware can play DE as well as OLB. Boulware is rumored to be on the trading block. And after the top 3 WRs there's a significant drop off IMO.

Oh it will happen, and the Steelers are just the type of team that would take that chance. We've converted Hines Ward and Antwaan Randle El. Why not Matt Jones? I'd be surprised if he lasts to pick 30. If he does, I have no doubt Pittsburgh will roll the dice on him. His numbers were staggering. He's a physical specimen.

I believe that Mike Tice was going to take him with their 18th pick if he doesn't end up trading up for Mike Williams.

Pittsburgh wasnt dumb enough to use a first round pick on either of those players they converted to different positions. Your point supports my thesis.

Yes, but we were dumb enough to take Troy Edwards in the first round.
