Do you have your bank lock your cards so you give them an itinerary when you travel so they can't be used outside your travel path? I did that right after my son got ID theft in Canada on a snowboarding trip once....works great but you have to let them know where you'll be and for how long.
I always call and let them know my travel plans, so I don't get a fraud alert. I have an HSBC card I use for travel ATMs, not connected to my main accounts. I get better rates on withdrawls and reimbursment of fees on there.
FIRST I NEED YOUR INFO ...date of birth...SSN.....all card numbers and personal information then I'll process your request!
I don't get the best exchange rates through the bank but don't care..I'm not changing money on the street with a taxi driver to get better rates..it's like tipping after a meal. It's so cheap there that I always come home with more than I thought I would.
Looking to open another savings account to park some money in. Any suggestions? Rather have something more tech focused, I do most banking online. Transfer between accounts, scheduled deposits from other accounts. Was thinking of: 1. Marcus by Goldman Sachs 2. SoFi Marcus doesn't have a card you can only wire money in and out. Anything else anyone have experience with?
