I don't see much of an issue in defensive assignments tonight, only issue I see is someone tall enough to bother Big Z, in that case I think Beans is a good choice, he's quicker and got length.

I don't understand why the league wants to take this action of a suspension. I mean the officiating crew didn't think it was a big enough action to throw him out of that game, and to think now that the league is taking this action, is kind of absurd. Baron and the Warriors were given a techinical as the consequence. The game went on, and finished I believe without anything serious happening. Why now all of a sudden they decide to suspend Baron is beyond me. Did the league get bored and just decided to do it out of amusement?

Anyway now I guess Baron gets a longer rest and now we get to see more of Monta Ellis, two potential positives at least.

We should thank David Stern for giving this team an identity and some heart. I am dumbfounded at Dunleavy;s ransition. Has anyone ever seen a player go from so bad to so good in a matter of games? I mean, guys like Cardinal, Boykins, etc.. those buys just never got their shot. He's actually playin defense now. It's amazing. I still wish that Mully would've waited on that contract, but If Dundun keeps this up, I think the core of Davis, JRich, and Dunleavy is a solid one for years to come... now jsut to upgrade the 4, and 5. As much as I like Pietrus, if somehow we can get a legit player for him... (Is there any way to get Yao? I mean Could we somehow He'd be the ideal guy next to Murphy for that inside out game? Can we give up any of Pietrus/Foyle/Zarko/Fisher/Biedrins some picks, whatever it takes.. Someone figure that one out. That would all of a sudden become a lethal starting 5, with time for Ike, taft and Montay to develop off the bench.

Well Dunleavy's biggest criticism is he's not aggressive. But I'm not as suprised as I used to be when he played a big game. He looks this good because

1.) he's stronger this year physically which helps his defense.
2.) he's got plenty of bball skills and technical skills to use when he's feeling aggressive and when he's getting touches (No Murphy blackhole offense).
3.) he played so poorly for the longest time this season that what he's showing out on the floor is a breath of fresh air.

It's like if Fat Albert did a back flip, you'd be like "Woah, he can f--ing do that???" That's how I used to be when Dunleavy was taking guys off the dribble in transition and putting the ball behind his back, followed by an immediate crossover for a dish inside to somebody under the hoop. A lot of bball fans say wasted movement is a bad thing (might cause turnovers), but sometime the extra dribble or fake can throw defenders off quite a bit. When Dunleavy, Zarko or Bdiddy do that extra dribble/fake pass move, it's so funny to watch people get taken.
