It's just odd that he's suspended again for the Cleveland Cavs game again; It's the only time the Cavs come to Arena this season.

I wish I could make it to the game tonight, but will be there in spirit. Hope I can be back in time for the game.</div>

I remember that game. It was the second game of a back-to-back for the Cavs; I believe they lost to the Kings. Dunleavy actually shut LeBron down that night and it might have been his best game of his career like you said. At the same time, I think LeBron was slightly injured.

^I hope it is the same result too (a blowout win).

    Davis serves one-game suspension

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">At this rate, Warriors fans might never see Baron Davis and LeBron James on the court together.

The league hit Davis with a one-game suspension Saturday for his swing at Quinton Ross during the final minutes of Wednesday's loss to the Clippers.

It marked the second straight season Davis has missed the Cavs' only appearance in Oakland. Exactly one year ago, Davis sat out because of a one-game suspension issued for his forearm blow to Sonics guard Luke Ridnour.

This time, the suspension cost Davis an additional $170,000 and partaking in the Warriors' debuts of good friends Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson, who at least found some humor in the situation.

"I don't know, it might be some of that Jackson stuff rubbing off on him," Harrington cracked before the game.

"That's what I told him -- I just got here, and I'm already rubbing off on you," added Jackson, who was briefly suspended following a clash with his former Pacers coach, Rick Carlisle, this year. He was also hit with a 30-game suspension for fighting with Pistons fans in the 2004 brawl.

All kidding aside, Davis and Warriors coach Don Nelson were none too pleased by the suspension. The incident came with 1:47 left when Ross drove by Davis and appeared to go up for a shot. Davis took a swipe at the ball, but Ross passed off to a teammate and Davis' arm came within a few inches of Ross' head.

"I just think it was unfair that it was judged that way," said Davis, who had also taken issue with last year's suspension.

Nelson vented his frustration earlier in the day by referencing three incidents involving his own players getting hurt that went unpunished by the league: Former Warrior Troy Murphy and Mickael Pietrus had their noses broken by Portland's Zach Randolph and Orlando's Dwight Howard, respectively, and Monta Ellis bruised his right shoulder after colliding with James Posey in Miami last month.

"They're the sheriff," Nelson said, referring to the NBA. "And whatever they decide, we'll have to deal with." </div>
