Age 6-7: Started to play basketball for a club and was pretty good. Usually use to play SF when I was young .. this also includes up to about age 9.Age 9-12: Made it into a program via the school called hoop time and I was hooked on basketball ball from then. Age 12-14: Didn't do much regarding basketball. I just played for club and there was 4 divisions for my age group and I played div 2. I was pretty good but I just played to see friends and have fun. Didn't take it seriously.Age 14-16: Watched NBA more regularly and got into it. New Jersey Nets fan here lol. Uhh I also got more involved into basketball and was winning games and liking it a lot. Age 16-17: New age group (Under 18/20) and was playing dudes bigger then me even though I am 6'2" and I first had some troubles but got into it and was developing fast. Won the high school championship from my hot last quarter where I scored 10 points. One of the most memorable moments in my career. Now: Turned 17 about 3 months ago and I just play for a club. We are on a 4 game win streak and I am just enjoying it.A summary of how I play is I usually play SG or SF. I don't bring the ball up court much and I usually am the guy scoring. I shoot the play from long really good and can get around the court extremely fast and secretly. I get a lot of steals and fairly consistent. If I haven't stated already I am about 6'2" or 6'1". Thats basically it.
Age 4-7: Started playing ball due to watching the Raptors on T.V, I just kept working on my game trying to learn the fundamentals of basketball at that age.Age 8-10: Join my elementary club. Every Saturday and Sunday we'd go to our gym and some basketball dude would teach us some skills. Age 9-11: Played in a small league. First time playing organized ball. We won our division and then lost in the semi's in my last year. Averaged around 11-14 PPG and 4 APG.Age 12-13: Quit my league, joined the school team. Did f*cking horrible and probably my worst year playing organized ball ever. I only averaged 4-5 PPG and 2 APG. Sucked ass. My confidence was sooo low that year and I just felt so overwhelmed on the court for some reason. We lost in the semi finals. After our bball season was over, I just went back on working on my game and improving my confidence. I've been playing mostly everyday now.
Because I did...
Can you see how you're being confusing? Implies you were in eighth grade, no strings attached. Implies you were and are in ninth grade, making it dubious why you said you were in eighth grade. In response to my post, implying once again that you were in eighth grade. Which one is it?As a guy who is in 10th grade but is supposed to be in 9th (I skipped seventh grade), I have never said "I'm in ninth grade" with no 'if's, 'and's, or 'but's, I say "I'm in tenth grade", or, if I'm in a relatively egotistical mood "I'm in tenth grade, but I'm the age of a ninth grader because I skipped a grade". I don't see why you'd tell somebody you're in a grade that you're not in.
When I was younger I wasn't all into basketball even though I was the tallest person at my elementary school every year and the coach always wanted me to play, but as I got into middle school I started to play more. I only started to play HS ball this past year (junior) because of Katrina and I played PF/C (6'1). I didn't really score too much but shotblocking, defense, and rebounding where my best skills. I still got a lot to work on.

I go to boarding school for kids from 13-21. I'm supposed to be in eighth grade, but take all 9th grade and up classes. I am on the school's varsity basketball team. Does that finally clear anything up?
-I made my first basket on a plastic hoop when I was 1 1/2.-I've watched almost every Suns game since I was 2.-I began playing basketball in a leauge when I was 3.-I made my first 10 foot shot (It was from a little bit inside the free throw line) when I was 3.-I made my first 3 pointer at 7.-I began to play point guard at 7.-I made my first half court shot at 8.-Iaveraged 15ppg in 16 mpg at 10.-I tried out for my middle school team at 12, I was the last cut.-Since trying out for my middle school team I have worked my butt of and got about 12 times better at baskeball-I plan to make the middle school team next year
I guess I'll do this for real"If someone was to ask me what I was, I'd say I'm a winner. I make winning plays. I like the clutch. I like the pressure of deciding history. Every team that I've played a role on has been championship contenders. In 5th grade I was a standout player, mostly a defender. In sixth grade my coach was terrible and never played me (for no reason). In 7th grade I started playing a big role again, and I also much improved my shooting and passing. In 8th grade (the grade I just finished) I was the most versatile player in our (school) league. Iprobably only averaged between 2-3 ppg ('cause I didn't need to score, we were loaded with scorers) but I averaged around 6rpg 6 apg 2 bpg and 2 spg. All in about 15 mpg (20 minute games, 5 minute quarters). For the first half of the season I was the starting SF. But halfway through the season my coach moved me to the 6th man and I took off. I came into the game when it was dead, and all the sudden the team would go on a run. I hustled, passed, rebounded, played D. I did all the things for my team. We finished 18-2 and ended up winning the championship against a great team (feauturing one of the best 7th graders in the nation). In the championship game I had 4 points (2-4) shooting, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. I also hit a clutch free throw to pretty much secure the win. During my 8th grade year I played every posistion on the floor. Now I'm onto high school ball. Our school started baskebtall camp last week and I thing I'll be on the JV team as a PG-SF, which is not bad for a (soon-to-be) freshman. My HS team is pretty stacked, we have an honorable mention all state player, and another guy who will most likely be in that range this year. Plus we have a strong forward and a great outside shooter, as well as another honorable all-city player. Those guys make up the core of the varsity team. If it ends up that we don't get too many more players (my HS gets a lot of transfers) then I probably could end up playing varsity, which is cool since I have a great relationship with the varsity head coach. So, yeah, I guess I'll have to see where high school ball takes me.P.S. I'm 5'9", 170 pounds, 5'10" armspan, 30 inch vertical
I guess Ill do this since everyone else is.I started playing when I was 4-5. Ive always excelled at defense and rebounding and have recently developed a solid outside shot. Im really the guy that kills himself diving and running after every loose ball on defense and I dont really have a big part in the offense except for getting offensive boards and shooting the occasional three when I am open. Thats about it, I dont get the ball much on offense but get my minutes with my defense and hustle. Im not gonna lie, Im nowhere near the best guy on my team but I try harder than most.
Only been playing basketball a year... but I am a starter for my school team... and got chosen to play regional after playing only half a year (im from england btw)... I couldnt play regional because I was too old for this certain coach who wanted me... I normally play as a forward for school team although my preferred position is PG... I've got the best record for three-point shooting on my team... and most likely (not sure though) best record for blocking... I also love to use crossovers and drive down the lane... I try to play basketball at least 3 times a week
