probably. Dallas might pivot to a tank and may not bring back AD, even if he's healthy. Maybe same for Gafford Mavs own the tiebreaker against the Blazers so Portland has to finish with one more win. So, Blazers are 5 games behind at the moment Dallas was 4th seed on Dec. 27. Looks like 2025 will be a plague year for Dallas fans

Just say NO -- NM -- HELL NO to the play in I know as a fan you want to think if they just have a chance maybe they could do something or if they get into a play off like game it will be good XP for the young guys etc BUT This is not what is right for this team -- IF you think this is what is right for this team then you do not have the big picture in mind and sorry to say it but i wonder if your a real fan of the Blazers or just someone who follows the local team and wants success without understanding the big picture of things. Yes, it is preventing the trading of any 1st round picks until 2029 or later, because the obligation of a non-lottery 1st round pick to the Bulls could last through the 2028 draft if it is not satisfied before then.
